Holland America Line has recognized seven shipboard and shoreside employees in its latest quarterly “We Win as a Team” awards, celebrating their contributions to the company and commitment to its values.

The shipboard winners are Jubille Tidoso, Risal Toisuta and Yonni Nusantoro. Joining them are shoreside colleagues Steve Merkel, Amanda Blake, Catherine Puerto and Shanon Jensen. Holland America thanked all seven in an announcement highlighting the importance of working together.

The award takes its name from one of Holland America’s core values. Its published culture framework describes teamwork as looking out for colleagues, embracing different backgrounds and creating an environment where employees can develop their potential. Other principles include operating safely, acting with integrity, improving continuously and taking responsibility for results. 

By recognizing employees at sea and ashore together, the awards highlight the shared effort behind each voyage. While guests meet the crew delivering service on board, those teams also rely on colleagues working across the company’s shoreside operations.
