The 2018 Bacardi Legacy Global Cruise Cocktail Competition Finals will be held in Miami, on February 6. This Competition has attracted more than 1,600 entries from the cruise industry’s leading bartenders. Three bartenders have made it to the finals of the 13th annual competition who will compete for the title Bacardi Cruise Bartender of the Year and a chance to compete in the Global Finals in Mexico City, plus a $4,000 prize.

Turner, the global media giant behind Cartoon Network is entering the cruise market together with Oceanic Group. The news was made public yesterday, with the announcement of the first fully themed cruise ship named “Cartoon Network Wave”. There are many Turner projects around the world with restaurants, theme parks, water parks, and airplanes, however, this  will be the first time an entire cruise ship in the Cartoon Network style will set sail.

Holland America cruise ship MS Eurodam continues to set records with 13th Consecutive Score of 100 points on U.S. Public Health (USPH) Inspection. This Score marks the longest streak of perfect 100s in the cruise industry as the vessel received perfect health marks since 2011.

The German cruise line AIDA has presented a check to the SOS Children's Village Iloilo in the southeast Philippine island of Panay.
