Excellent Entertainment is celebrating a major milestone in 2026, marking 25 years of partnership with Disney Cruise Line and a quarter-century of helping bring performers and technical specialists from across the UK and Europe to the company's fleet.

The recruitment and entertainment specialist announced the anniversary this week, highlighting a collaboration that began in 2001 and has since created thousands of career opportunities at sea.

Over the past 25 years, Excellent Entertainment has recruited talent for a wide range of onboard positions, including youth programming, adult and family entertainment, as well as specialized technical theater roles. These positions cover areas such as sound and lighting, automation, and show control, helping support the Broadway-style productions and entertainment experiences that have become a hallmark of Disney Cruise Line.

According to the company, the partnership has opened doors for performers, technicians, and production professionals from across the UK and Europe. Many of those recruited have gone on to build long-term careers in the global cruise industry, working on ships around the world after gaining experience with Disney.

Excellent Entertainment also credited the UK's strong theater, live events, and holiday park industries for producing highly skilled professionals who are well prepared for the demands of cruise ship entertainment. The company said these sectors continue to provide an exceptional talent pipeline for Disney's onboard productions.

To commemorate the anniversary, Excellent Entertainment reflected on key moments from the partnership, sharing photos from visits aboard the Disney Fantasy, meetings at Walt Disney World Resort, and appearances at industry events over the years.
