Spanish Coast Guard performed medical evacuation on a minor passenger aboard the German cruise ship Aida Stella, when the vessel was sailing 20 nautical miles off the coast of Mallorca. The command center dispatched rescue helicopter type Helimer 203. NYPD arrested a British man for groping a woman as she was dancing on Norwegian Breakaway while the ship was docked at a pier in the Hudson River. According to Manhattan District Attorney’s office, the victim is 21-year-old female from New Jersey, who was dancing at the Bliss Ultra Lounge on Norwegian Breakaway, on September 4 when the incident occurred. The man identified as Lee Ashley Berry, 28, approached her at around 1:30 a.m from behind and groped her. At that time the ship was docked at the Manhattan Cruise Terminal
The hugely popular show 'Lip Sync Battle' presented by Spike TV is coming to Carnival Cruise Lines, allowing passengers to unleash their inner star talent on board. The special edition 'Lip Sync Battle Carnival' will be hosted by LL Cool J and Chrissy Teigen, aboard the Carnival Vista in December and continuing fleet-wide in 2017. Competitors will be chosen at the beginning of the voyage and will face each other in elimination rounds on the Lido Deck before the final two passengers go head-to-head in the grand finale.
The US Coast Guard crew is searching for a 32-year-old woman who reportedly fell overboard from the Carnival cruise ship Ecstasy on Wednesday, 27 miles southwest of Freeport, Bahamas. According to the Coast Guard, Carnival Ecstasy crewmembers said a woman was spotted falling overboard from deck 11. Person overboard procedures were initiated by the ship’s crew and the U.S. Coast Guard was notified immediately.
