Royal Caribbean Bringing Live FIFA World Cup Action Across Fleet

Sports fans sailing on Royal Caribbean cruise ships will be able to follow one of the world’s biggest sporting events while at sea.

The cruise line announced plans to broadcast the FIFA World Cup live across its entire fleet from June 11 through July 19, 2026, giving guests access to matches throughout the tournament while onboard. The initiative aims to create a more immersive sports atmosphere across Royal Caribbean ships during the busy summer travel season.

Live matches will be shown in multiple public venues onboard, including pool decks, entertainment spaces, sports bars, and other gathering areas where guests can watch together. Passengers will also have access to coverage directly from their stateroom televisions, allowing them to follow games privately from their cabins.

In addition to live broadcasts, Royal Caribbean plans to introduce soccer-themed activities and entertainment during the tournament period, bringing more interactive experiences onboard for guests.

The company is also expanding its involvement shoreside through its partnership with the Miami World Cup 2026 Host Committee. Royal Caribbean will participate in fan-focused celebrations and entertainment events connected to the tournament in Miami, including activities at the FIFA Fan Festival at Bayfront Park.
