There comes a point in every crew member’s journey when you realize something is missing. We work together, live together, share contracts, challenges, and moments, but we’re still scattered. Different ships, different companies, different groups.
Now imagine this instead: one place where all crew connect. No ranks. No pressure. Just crew supporting crew.
That’s the idea behind DeepCrew.
Created by crew, for crew, DeepCrew is a new global community built on Discord, a platform designed for real-time communication through organized channels, combining chat, forum, and social media into one structured space.
Behind DeepCrew are three experienced crew members, TheCaptain, TheChief, and TUG-Master, friends and colleagues who have spent years working on cruise ships. They’ve seen firsthand what crew life is like across companies, and more importantly, what’s been missing: a private, unified space where crew can connect without restrictions.
And this is where things change.
Unlike traditional social media, Discord allows you to join with a nickname. No need to share your personal Facebook or Instagram. You choose what you want to reveal, your role, your company, or nothing at all. It’s your space.
At the heart of DeepCrew is the main channel, inspired by the busiest corridor on any ship, the I-95, where everyone passes, connects, and shares. This space is free and open to all crew.
From there, the community expands into channels where you can:
- Share your onboard experiences
- Post photos and videos from daily crew life
- Ask questions and get real-time advice
- Connect with crew from your company or ship
- Join discussions about jobs, contracts, and career paths
- Even live stream moments from crew parties or events in the crew bar channel
Everything is organized, easy to navigate, and built for one purpose to bring crew together.
DeepCrew is also building bridges beyond its own platform. Through its collaboration with Crew Center, crew members can access the latest crew-focused news directly within a dedicated channel inside the community. It also creates a direct line of communication, allowing crew to reach out, share stories, or connect with Crew Center from within DeepCrew itself.
Access is simple. DeepCrew can be reached from both mobile and desktop at https://www.discord.gg/deepcrew
For mobile users, you will need to download the Discord app from the Apple App Store or Google Play to join and stay connected on the go.
This isn’t just another platform. It’s a movement.
Because one crew member alone doesn’t have much power. But a connected global crew community changes that.
It builds awareness, support, and a stronger collective voice.
Whether it’s sharing experiences, helping someone new, or simply connecting with people who understand life at sea, DeepCrew is about building something stronger, together.
The goal is simple: unite crew worldwide in one place.
And this is just the beginning.
If you believe crew deserve a strong voice, real support, and a place to connect, this is your space.
