Carnival’s UK-based brand Cunard announced extension of its pause in operations. The Iconic brand will resume sailings in March 25, 2021, with Queen Elizabeth; following Queen Mary 2 on April 18, 2021 and finally on May 16, 2021 Queen Victoria is expected to set sail with guests.

One such amazing man is David Oscar who joined Carnival Cruise Lines in 2017 boarding his first ship with a sketch pad and thirst for experiences, friendships and travel.
The cruise ship Carnival Legend responded to a call for help from a catamaran that had run out of fuel off the coast of Bahamas. Carnival Legend delivered 25 gallons of fuel to the boat crew in order to make its way back to Jacksonville, Florida. John Heald, Carnival Cruise Line’s brand ambassador, shared Carnival Legend crew response to the call for help on his Facebook page.

A group of 227 Indian crew members from Carnival Victory disembarked the ship yesterday at the port of Seville and took on a charter flight to Mumbai. The disembarkation and transfer of the Indian crew to the Seville airport was carried out on nine buses in order to avoid any setbacks and ensure the operation is conducted following all safety protocols by the health authorities. The flight took off on Friday at 8 pm, and the crew landed in Mumbai on Saturday morning at around 9:30 am.
After successfully completing the first phase of the crew repatriation plan in Southampton, Carnival Breeze is sailing to the port of Cadiz to pick up the fellow team members from Carnival Victory. According to the plan the Breeze is scheduled to arrive in Cadiz on May 21, to pick up all crew on Carnival Victory not deemed part of the safe operational manning, along with contractors on board.
The cruise ship Carnival Breeze arrived in Southampton this morning as part of a Transatlantic repatriation voyage of Carnival Cruise Line’s European crew due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
A team member on Carnival Cruise Line ship reportedly took his own life today during his final voyage before the repatriation back to his home country. The 29-year-old crew member from Hungary was found dead in his cabin on the cruise ship Carnival Breeze. He had been working as a shore excursion assistant manager for Carnival for the past 3 years.
The cruise ship Carnival Magic is preparing to welcome the Eastern European crew on board before setting sail on a long journey across the Atlantic. The plan to return as many crew members as possible was put in place since the company announced the extended pause in operations until June 27.
Carnival Cruise Line plans to use more cruise ships in order to bring back as many as possible crew members back home. After the company put in action the plan to repatriate Filipino and Indonesian crew from Carnival Splendor and Spirit, now an additional five Carnival ships will be used to expatriate the crew home.
