Carnival Jubilee will feature immersive ocean-themed experiences in two new zones

Apr 25, 2023

Carnival Jubilee, the next ship in the Excel class, will offer unique and immersive ocean-themed experiences in two new zones called Currents and The Shores. The Currents zone, located on Decks 6 and 7, will transport guests below the waves with innovative technology, new bar and dining venues, live music, and massive LED windows and ceiling that create immersive environments for guests to enjoy. Some of the notable venues in Currents include Dr.Inks, Ph.D, The Golden Mermaid, and Emeril's Bistro 717. On Deck 8, The Shores zone will offer a boardwalk-inspired design with a three-deck-high fish school art installation, colorful and playful designs, and casual seating areas for guests to enjoy hot pizza at Coastal Slice or sandwiches and cocktails at Marina Bar.

In addition to these two new zones, Carnival Jubilee will also have other zones filled with exciting activities and venues like a transformational three-deck-high atrium and top deck attractions that cater to all ages. The ship will sail from Galveston starting Dec. 23, 2023, offering week-long Western Caribbean cruises alongside Carnival Breeze and Carnival Dream. In 2024, Carnival will increase its deployment in Galveston to four ships with the addition of Carnival Miracle, which will offer a new series of longer cruises from the port.

The other four zones of Carnival Jubilee will offer spectacular activities and venues that guests have gotten to love on both Mardi Gras and Carnival Celebration. From the transformational three-deck-high atrium that guests see when they first board to the fun for all-ages attractions that fill the top deck.

Carnival Jubilee first sails from Galveston on Dec. 23, 2023, joining Carnival Breeze and Carnival Dream operating from Galveston year-round, offering week-long Western Caribbean cruises. In 2024, Carnival will increase its deployment in Galveston to four ships when Carnival Miracle begins operating a new series of longer cruises from the port.
