Royal Caribbean crew member Nitin Kumar has been honored with the Hero Award for his brave actions that helped protect guests from serious harm.

The incident happened onboard Symphony of the Seas when a large glass panel in the Coastal Kitchen started to crack. Nitin quickly noticed the danger and ran to the nearby sun deck, where guests were relaxing. He acted fast, asking everyone to move away just moments before the glass shattered. Thanks to his quick thinking, no one was hurt.

Royal Caribbean presented the Hero Award to Nitin praising him for his bravery, honesty, and dedication to safety. They said his actions had a real impact on both guests and fellow crew members, and showed what it means to be a true professional.
