With the restart of the final ship Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings marked the most important milestone of the Great Cruise Comeback. The return to service of Norwegian Spirit, the last ship to welcome back guests on board of the entire 28 ship fleet of NCL, Regent Seven Seas, and Oceania Cruises is a major milestone and commitment to cruising.

Oceania Cruises has announced subtle elements in the upcoming redesign of its Riviera and Marina ships with 1,210 guests. Debuting in December 2022 and November 2023, individually, Riviera and Marina will become what the line calls "better than new". Every surface of every stateroom and suite will be unused, while in the open spaces, the revived color palette will include modern textures, furniture and lighting fixtures.
NCL’s Pride of America is back into service after two years without cruising during the pandemic following the state's end of the Safe Travels Program. The ship set sail on April 9 offering round-trip voyages from Honolulu, with overnight stops in Maui and Kauai.
