The cruise ship MSC Poesia was caught in a storm while sailing off the coast of Uruguay. 

Following November 17, drug bust in Port Miami when seven MSC Seaside crew members were arrested for smuggling cocaine, Law-enforcement officers boarded the Seaside for the second time on November 24th. During the raids many crew members were traumatized after they were interrogated by Customs and Border Protection officers, and some fired from the company.

A big raid on the cruise ship MSC Seaside has left many crew members traumatized after they were held at a gunpoint and interrogated. Some crew members were handcuffed by Law-enforcement officers, says one crew member. The Authorities conducted the raid in the early morning hours on November 24th shortly after MSC Seaside docked in the Port Miami. Crew members say that Law-enforcement officers searched crew cabins and left them looking like hell and that the crew were taken ashore for interrogation.

Seven crew members were arrested in the port of Miami for smuggling cocaine reports Cruise Law News. The drug bust happened last week while the cruise ship MSC Seaside was in the port says Jim Walker, who was contacted by a crew member wishing to remain anonymous.

In order to attract the younger generation, MSC Cruises has contracted Luciano Spinelli, an 18-year-old teenage influencer, and Youtuber from Monza, Italy as a young ambassador. The youngster has 494.000 fans on YouTube and 1 million followers on Instagram and the idea is to share his passion for the web to youngsters on board the MSC cruise ships. This project aims to create innovative workshops designed to entertain families by creating multimedia content from their vacations. 

MSC Cruises announced the expansion of its fleet with a fourth cruise ship order by the company. With three ships being simultaneously built in the shipyard at Saint Nazaire, the world’s largest privately owned cruise line announced the order of the fifth Meraviglia class vessel. The new order signed by MSC and STX France will be adding a 900 million euros investment from nearly 11,000 million already announced by the shipping company in its ten-year investment plan.

The Italian Police arrested a man who was working as a contractor on the latest MSC cruise ship, MSC Seaview for a theft of merchandise worth 9.000 Dollars. The 30-year-old man, a Romanian national living in the Italian municipality of Ronchi dei Legionari was found in possession of the stolen goods, most of them brand watches, that he had stolen from one of the stores onboard MSC Seaview.

MSC Cruises officially received its new flagship named MSC Seaview. The delivery ceremony of this magnificent cruise ship was held in the presence of Gianluigi Aponte, the shipowner, founder and CEO of MSC Group.
