MSC Cruises has revealed new details about its next flagship, MSC World Asia, the third vessel in the World Class series. Set to debut on December 11, 2026, the ship will offer Mediterranean cruises with immersive cultural design, thrilling attractions, and elevated dining and entertainment.
The 22-deck mega ship will bring a bold vision to life, drawing inspiration from Asia’s rich heritage, art, and landscapes. Divided into seven distinct districts, each zone aboard World Asia will offer guests a personalized and atmospheric experience tailored to different moods, needs, and travel styles.
Among the ship’s most headline-grabbing features is the “Tree of Life – The Spiral Slide”, an 81.3-meter marvel that will become the longest slide ever built on a cruise ship. Spanning an impressive 12 decks, this architectural centerpiece promises an adrenaline-pumping ride and is poised to become an iconic symbol of MSC's World Class innovation.
Another standout feature is the expanded World Promenade, now enhanced with a soon-to-be-named Pan-Asian restaurant. This elegant dining venue will serve a wide variety of Asian dishes alongside a curated drinks menu, a specialty bar, and a scenic outdoor terrace—bringing an authentic, high-end culinary experience to sea.
MSC World Asia is designed not just for the ship but for the journey. Starting winter 2026–27 and running throughout the summer 2027 season, she will sail seven-night Mediterranean itineraries, calling at captivating ports such as Barcelona, Marseille, Messina, Civitavecchia (Rome), and Valletta. The itinerary blends cultural landmarks, natural beauty, and local tradition into a single unforgettable voyage.
Entertainment and dining across the ship will push boundaries, offering a refined mix of global cuisines and top-tier entertainment designed to "excite, amaze, and leave an indelible memory," according to MSC Cruises.
