When Virgin Voyages’ Brilliant Lady sets sail from Miami on her one-time-only MerMaiden voyage, all eyes and ears will be on Kelis. The Grammy-nominated singer and culinary artist will headline the sailing with a special live performance under the Caribbean stars, turning the ship’s pool deck into a high-energy concert venue.

Famous for chart-topping hits like Milkshake and Bossy, Kelis brings more than just music to the journey. A professionally trained chef from Le Cordon Bleu, she’s also premiering a new dessert—The Kelis Sundae—at the ship’s signature restaurant, The Wake. Created exclusively for this voyage, the decadent dish blends her culinary artistry with her musical flair, giving guests a double helping of her creative spirit.

While the itinerary offers stops in Tortola, St. Maarten, and Virgin Voyages’ private Beach Club at Bimini, it’s Kelis’ presence that sets this sailing apart. She joins the ranks of past Virgin headliners like Nicky Jam, Boy George, and Melanie C—but with a twist: music and food are center stage.

Adding to the celebration, the cruise also features a Miami-inspired speakeasy experience with cocktails curated in partnership with the city’s top bars, including The Sylvester and Better Days—an ode to the brand’s hometown.
