Fincantieri Launches Seven Seas Prestige

Fincantieri celebrated a big moment at the Marghera shipyard with the launch of Seven Seas Prestige, built for Regent Seven Seas Cruises. This is the first ship in a brand-new class, with delivery planned for 2026, and a sister ship coming in 2030.

The launch also highlights the strong relationship between Fincantieri and Regent. The two companies have been working together for years, and they recently took things a step further by signing a deal for another ultra-luxury ship set to arrive in 2033.

The ship is designed with comfort and elegance in mind. It measures 257 meters long, has a gross tonnage of 76,550, and will welcome just 822 guests in 411 suites. That means plenty of room to relax, explore, and enjoy the journey. In fact, Prestige will offer one of the highest space-to-guest ratios in the entire cruise industry.

Fincantieri says the ship will blend “timeless luxury” with the latest environmental technologies. Travelers can look forward to brand-new suite designs, exciting dining options, and exclusive amenities created for people who appreciate high-end travel but also want a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere.
