Disney Adventure Joins Disney Destiny and Disney Fantasy for a Meet-Up Near Freeport

Disney Cruise Line’s newest and largest ship, Disney Adventure, arrived near Freeport, Bahamas, on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, and marked the milestone with a rare at-sea meeting alongside Disney Destiny and Disney Fantasy, giving guests on the two in-service ships a front-row view.

Videos and eyewitness accounts described the moment as a family reunion on the water, with the three ships first sailing in close formation before breaking into a musical horn salute that quickly became the highlight of the day.

Adventure sailing crew-only as it heads toward Singapore

Unlike the other two ships, Disney Adventure is currently sailing with crew only, as the vessel continues a long positioning voyage toward its new homeport in Singapore, where it will begin revenue service in March 2026.

The ship was spotted near Freeport as part of several planned stops along the route, and is expected to continue to Port Canaveral, Florida, for another milestone visit before heading onward.

A Germany-built giant, now Disney’s biggest

Disney Adventure is Disney Cruise Line’s largest ship to date, built in Germany and completed with longtime partner Meyer Werft.

While Disney positions the ship as the centerpiece of a new Singapore-based deployment, the vessel’s journey to the region is already creating buzz especially moments like this three-ship salute, where guests could literally watch the fleet expand in real time.

What guests can expect once she enters service

When Disney Adventure debuts from Singapore, the cruise line says the ship itself will be the main attraction, offering short 3- and 4-night sailings designed around onboard entertainment and themed districts.

Disney has highlighted onboard areas including Disney Imagination Garden, Disney Discovery Reef, San Fransokyo Street, Wayfinder Bay, Town Square, Marvel Landing, and Toy Story Place—a layout built to keep families engaged even on itineraries with more sea time.
