A gunshot onboard the cruise ship Msc Magnifica docked at the port of Venice has created panic among the passenger and crew. The incident happened on Saturday June 18, while the large cruise ship was ready for boarding the passengers. According to Venezia Today a border police security guard who was doing ground control placed his weapon in a bag and then in plastic container into the x-ray scanner for hand luggage. 

A group of cruise ship passengers have sustained serious injuries in a bus accident while  P&O Pacific Dawn was in Vanuatu on Monday. The cruise company has confirmed that 12 guests from the cruise ship Pacific Dawn, were among those seriously injured in the bus crash. Local Media reports at least two people from Port Vila died in the head-on collision between a tour bus and another bus carrying locals.
