AIDA Cruises announced the opening of a new school building in Cambodia through its AIDA Cruise & Help initiative, funded by donations from guests and crew aboard AIDAstella. The new facility provides 860 children in Sre Noy with improved learning conditions, featuring four furnished classrooms and modern sanitary facilities.
This project is part of AIDA’s broader effort to enhance educational opportunities in developing regions, particularly in the home countries of its crew members and the destinations its ships visit. In partnership with the Reiner Meutsch Foundation FLY & HELP, AIDA has now completed over 75 school projects worldwide.
Felix Eichhorn, President of AIDA Cruises, emphasized: “Our goal is to give as many children and young people as possible access to education and better future prospects.” The company continues to raise funds for future projects through onboard campaigns across its fleet.
Beyond school construction, AIDA remains engaged in a variety of social, cultural, and environmental initiatives both locally and internationally.
