AIDA Cruises Crew Areas Now Available in 3D 360° Virtual Tours

Who says crew areas are always off-limits, hidden from public eyes, and forbiden to share? AIDA Cruises has taken a step forward in transparency by offering 3D and 360° virtual tours of its crew areas across the fleet giving seafarers, future employees, and cruise enthusiasts a rare behind-the-scenes look at life onboard.

Through an interactive platform created by Liquid Ambient, crew members and those considering a career with AIDA can now explore the common crew facilities and cabins in detail, online, from any device. This includes a realistic look at everything from the crew mess to personal cabins, a unique opportunity for future hires to know exactly what to expect before signing on.

Insights from Crew Center

Over the past years Crew-Center has documented crew facilities across AIDA’s fleet, and the verdict is that they look amazing. On the Hyperion Class ships (AIDAprima & AIDAperla), crew enjoy exceptional amenities including a sauna, a barber shop, and even multipurpose wristbands that double as room access and payment methods. Free internet access (500 MB/month in port) is provided, while the crew mess serves everything from salads and hot dishes to waffles, pancakes, smoothies, and even a Nutella dispenser. Dedicated crew gyms are complemented by guest-facility access on special evenings, and a private sun deck with jacuzzi provides outdoor relaxation. Facilities also include a barber shop, a modern laundry system, and spa access with vibrating chairs.
