Disney Cruise Line’s newest and biggest ship, Disney Adventure, made quite an entrance when she arrived in Singapore, sailing into Marina Bay Cruise Centre with a spectacular fireworks display lighting up the night sky.
The ship reached Singapore on the evening of March 3, 2026, marking a big milestone for Disney Cruise Line. It’s the first time a Disney cruise ship will be homeported in Asia, and the arrival was celebrated in true Disney style.
As the massive ship approached the terminal, water cannons sprayed a traditional maritime salute, while fireworks exploded above the famous Marina Bay skyline. People gathered along the waterfront to watch the moment, cheering and taking photos as the ship slowly sailed into port.
A Big Moment for Disney in Asia
The celebration continued on shore with a welcoming event attended by Disney cast members and partners, marking the end of the ship’s long journey to her new homeport.
For Disney Cruise Line, the arrival represents an important step in expanding its presence into the Asian cruise market and bringing the Disney cruise experience to a whole new audience.
Disney’s Biggest Ship Ever
The Disney Adventure is currently the largest ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, measuring more than 342 meters in length and able to carry around 6,700 passengers.
Onboard, guests will find a wide range of themed areas inspired by Disney, Pixar, and Marvel, along with new attractions, entertainment venues, and family experiences created with the Asian market in mind.
Sailing from Singapore
The ship will now be based in Singapore for at least five years, operating three- and four-night sailings starting with its maiden voyage on March 10, 2026.
Tourism officials say the arrival of Disney Adventure is a major boost for Singapore’s cruise industry and further strengthens the city’s position as one of Asia’s leading cruise hubs.
