Celebrity Cruises has become the first major cruise line in history to earn a Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star rating for a restaurant at sea, marking a major milestone for the global cruise industry.

The recognition was awarded to Le Voyage, the signature fine-dining venue aboard Celebrity Xcel, created in partnership with the famous chef Daniel Boulud.

The award places Le Voyage among a small, elite group of top-rated restaurants worldwide and confirms that cruise ship dining can now compete at the highest international level.

Le Voyage features a globally inspired menu based on Chef Boulud’s travels and culinary influences. Each course is designed to reflect flavors and techniques from different regions, offering guests a multi-cultural dining journey without leaving the ship.

The restaurant’s concept combines fine ingredients, precision cooking, and personalized service, aligning with the standards required for Forbes’ highest rating.

This achievement builds on Celebrity Cruises’ growing track record with Forbes Travel Guide. In 2023, Celebrity became the first cruise line to receive a Forbes Star Rating. Since then, several Celebrity ships and the brand’s Fine Cut Steakhouse have also earned recognition, reinforcing the company’s focus on premium hospitality and dining.

Celebrity Cruises credited the achievement to its onboard and shoreside teams, including chefs, service staff, and operational departments responsible for maintaining consistent quality. Company representatives said the award reflects years of training, innovation, and commitment to responsible tourism and guest satisfaction.
