The Brisbane International Cruise Terminal has closed out a strong summer season, marking another milestone period for cruising in Queensland.
According to the Port of Brisbane Pty Ltd, the terminal handled 101 cruise ship calls between October 2025 and March 2026, including five maiden visits.
Passenger activity was equally impressive, with approximately 519,300 passenger movements recorded over the six-month period. The season also saw the terminal celebrate its 500th cruise call since opening in June 2022, highlighting how quickly it has established itself as a key hub in the region.
Behind the scenes, more than 130 staff members played a role in keeping operations running smoothly, from port personnel to on-the-ground teams ensuring safe and efficient turnaround for every ship.
While summer sailings have wrapped up, cruising from Brisbane is far from over. The terminal will continue to welcome ships year-round, with itineraries carrying on through the cooler months.
