Costa Cruises Asia Crew Notice of Coronavirus

Following the Novel Coronavirus pneumonia outbreak in China, Costa Cruises has released the following information for crew regarding the canceled voyages on four of their cruise ships currently sailing from Chinese ports. Costa cruise ships will remain in their homeports with all crew members onboard following the policies and regulations imposed by health authorities.

“Dear Captains and Crew Members of Costa Cruises

Costa Cruises is committed to providing a healthy, safe and family-like environment for our crew and you are one of the most important members of the Costa family.

Given the outbreak of the novel coronavirus pneumonia, Costa Cruises has decided to temporarily suspend all trips of Costa cruises departing from the ports in China between 25th January and 4th February, 2020 according to the related policies and regulation imposed by relevant government authorities and departments.”

  • -Costa neoRomantica / Departure Date 25, 30 January and 02 February, 2020 Port of Embarkation Sanya.
  • -Costa Venezia / Departure Date 26 January and 2 February 2020 Ports of Embarkation Shenzhen and Shanghai.
  • -Costa Atlantica / Departure Date 27 and 31 January, 2020 Port of Embarkation Shanghai.

 

In order to protect the well-being of all crew members and ensure a safe environment onboard, we kindly suggest all crew members suspend all activities for the next 14 days, follow the captain's instructions and be on standby until further notice. We are preparing sufficient supplies to ensure crew members' daily living and the cruises’ regular operation.” The following announcement was shared by a crew member.
