60 Tons Crane Falls Next to Royal Princess

During the scheduled dry dock in Palermo on Princess Cruises ship Royal Princess, a 60 tons crane fell to the yard just next to the ship. The accident happened yesterday inside the basin during a lifting operation. The crane detached from the top of the fixed platform which was a cause of the accident. Fortunately no one was near the place where the crane fell and there are no reported injured workers.

This mystery box was loaded on the Royal Caribbean cruise ship Independence of the Seas in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on a 4-day voyage with stop in Grand Turk before returning with a new owner. Inside the box was a custom made motorcycle, presented as a ruffle grand price. The award-winning visionary and builder behind Deadwood Choppers Kustom Motorcycles, Mr. Jack Fiorvante, donated this custom build motorcycle.

A 70-year-old passenger died yesterday in a restaurant aboard the German Cruise ship Aida Stella. According to the website schiffsjournal.de the passenger suffered a heart attack in the Market Restaurant located on Deck 9.
