Universal Petite Pageant 2016 on Carnival Paradise

Jul 19, 2016

The cruise ship Carnival Paradise is host of the international competition for Universal Petite Pageant 2016. This unique beauty pageant organized by Hazely Corp set sail from Tampa on July 18, 2016, to Grand Cayman and Cozumel. Designated for ladies 5’6 feet (167.5cm) or less, the main focus of this pageant is to appreciate the beauty of petite women by offering opportunities and special acknowledgment. The areas of competition focus on judge’s interview, swimsuit, on-stage question, and evening gown. Unlike the Miss Universe Pageant when winner country is host for the next year contest, Universal Petite Pageant is traditionally held on a cruise ship. Since 2012, 20 countries compete for the title involving seven days of activities, on the cruise, which follows a route open to the general public.

Last year the competition was held on the same cruise ship Carnival Paradise and the winner was Miss Corro Madrid Fianeth representing Panama. This year she will compete once again for the crown. “Last year Panama won the crown of the competition and we look for the back to back crown” she says.

The Universal Petite queen is described as a poised, graceful and elegant lady that understands her height is no limitation to fulfilling her dreams and being a role model to everyone!
