The German Cruise Line Aida has announced their partnership with the American premium coffeehouse chain, Starbucks. The first coffeehouse was officially open yesterday, January 10, onboard AIDA latest cruise ship AidaPrima. As part of the "We Proudly Serve Starbucks" cooperation, the extensive range of Pier 3 Market's on board AIDAprima will be expanded to include the popular coffees, Tazo Tees and other Starbucks specialties. The first cup of Starbucks coffee on January 10, 2017 was free for all guests, so you can imagine it as very busy at the opening. In the following year Aida plans to incorporate Starbucks coffeehouse on all of their ships.

The offer will include up to 26 different coffee and tea specialties. From the simple classic "Americano" to Tazo teas to "Sugar free Hazlenut Latte", the Starbucks program offers the right product for every coffee and tea lover. Depending on the beverage, there are different sizes to choose from: espresso, tall or grand.

After Royal Caribbean, Aida is second cruise line to incorporate Starbucks kiosks on their ships. Just like your local Starbucks, the prices in general, are similar to what you find on land. The popular German Cruise site Schiffe und Kreuzfahrten has released the Starbucks menu of drinks and prices on AidaPrima.
